Medicaid has prepared a list of questions that you should fax to
your vendor or clearinghouse now. Please have them fill out the
questionairre and fax it back to you so that you can make an informed
decision whether to continue this relationship or find a new vendor.
HIPAA transactions are your responsibility — regardless of
who submits your claims for payment. This list will help you determine
if your cash flow will remain constant. If your vendor is not HIPAA
compliant by October 16, 2003 your cash flow will be interrupted.
